PBS

Sure, you've heard the term, but people don't want to talk about it. I'm now ready to Break the Silence!

PBS stands for Poly Butt Syndrome.

This disfiguring disease was first diagnosed at Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo. Strangely, it was only found developing in first time students at the university. After a great deal of research and many, many tax dollars (donated in part by you, gentle reader), researchers found that students who were living on their own for the first time, eating their meals at the campus cafeterias, all tended to develop the same, uh, "spread" in the hind quarters.

Several radical members of the research team attempted to use common sense and attribute it to the astronomical starch and carbohydrate content of the meals served on-campus, but cooler heads prevailed, and a multi-year research grant was issued. Although the taxpayer expense will be great, the team is confident they will, in time, get to the true root of the matter.

The report is expected in the near future.
