Industry Figure Tom Chappell kept the following post from the newsgroup alt.shoe.lesbian. According to Tom, the newsgroup alt.shoe.lesbian was started by two male college students to see who it would attract. The newsgroup now thrives with light talk, mostly between lesbians.
